CMN Review:

The C-Denny Band Takin' Flight "There's some really interesting material here. The opening track, Any Way the Wind Blows (not the J.J. Cale song of the same title) has been pulled as the lead single and has chalked-up some decent airplay. Also strong is Poor Man's Blues, a lament about the state of the economy today; while Coming of Age is a groovy country/rock item that stirs plenty of interest. Also of special interest is the pure country winner, Pride Goes Before the Fall, a tune that Denis Chadbourn has co-written with John Pennell, formerly of the Alison Krauss & Union Station band…

Other songs here that generate attention include the soft ballad, You Will Find Your Way, which is helped along with a chunky guitar intro; the Lightfoot-ish, Flight Delays and some country rock'n roll energy tunes in She's a Loaded Gun, and Jacked-in, Cranked-up & Turned-on…"

"The new single, 'Any Way the Wind Blows'...grabbed my attention, and made me smile...immediately added it to our rotation."

“ One of the most honest, inspiring cds to hit the airwaves! A wonderful collection of hand-clapping country gospel, with a rich bluegrass sound! From the self-penned “Drink From the Cup of Life,” to the classic “Will The Circle Be Unbroken”, an ambitious, labor of love. Gospel, Folk & Grassroots is a must have for country gospel & bluegrass fans!”

Outgoing, Motivated, and Versatile, this dynamic group crosses the broad spectrum, from gospel grass and contemporary country, to just plain old rock’n out; sprinkle in a little Celtic, some Olde-tyme fiddle, and a bit of Popular music just for flavor. Top it all off with some tight blood harmony.
